I looked at the usual places (Blau, ECS, SJM, eBay) but I didn't see any replacements for my IR remote.

Is the stealer the only option?

btw, i have a whole RF security system i bought off craigslist for like $30...before i discovered my car already has the OEM RF stuff...so just bought a new fob.

it'll wire up to your car, and then you'll have RF goodness. $30 + shipping, it's yours.

i've heard IR has some problems in direct sunlight.

The previous owner took out the batteries. I doubt this will work, but I'd like to give it a shot.
