New to forum, suspension advice needed. I have STFA and Scars.org and am more
confused than ever. Are camber plates necessary for a lowered car? I have decided upon the Eibach pro kits with Bilstein sport shocks for a recently purchased Emerald Green 1995.5 S6. I found out that I will need spacers for the rear shocks (ECS). I WILL NOT track this car. I will upgrade the brakes and at a minimum get a chip (MTM). Thanks in advance for your feedback.

With Eibachs you should be able to get the car in to alignment just by slotting the strut mounts.
Any lower and I believe you will need the plates or modify your stock ones as per Igor. Spacers for rear shocks are meant for Bilstein/Eibach setup.

QU4TRO told me the new Eibachs do not need the rear ECS spacers.
My friend bought a set of the Eibachs for the C4 cars that are on eBay for under $265 shipped and he does not have rear end sag. YMMV.

Hmm, how so?
The H&R kits are not sedan/avant specific. Why would Eibach's be? Also the Avant is ~100 lbs. heavier, so I could understand the argument for more sag, but more lift?
