Preventative maintenence is good.
Ordered another fuel filter when I got all the stuff for my swap. Didn't really think I needed one, but figured now was a good time to make sure I had a new one. Car never showed any signs of a bad fuel filter, other than an occasional bucking or two under hard accelleration, but that was few and far between. Pulled the old one off today and nearly fainted trying to blow through it. I could barely get anything through it. Glad I changed it.

My B3 was pretty easy too, other than the rotted bolts...
Only thing that bugs me about the UrS4 placement is the turbo being right there. Basically, the filter is a gigantic gas oven! I thought about wrapping the filter in thermo wrap just for ****s.

i need to do mine as well
it is the origonal with almost 150k. Does fuel spray much? That is the main thing i was worried about, but i guess i can just make sure the car is cold and to clean up my mess.
