Problem resolved.
From 07/26 - "At a light
Light turns green
I hit the gas pedal and the car goes from its normal tone to a hard rumble.
80% of power is gone.
Can't hear turbo spool.
No warning lights
Problem I had at the end of July
I pull into a gas station and the car keeps doing it. The exhaust sounds like a slow idle v8 and the engine sounds like a muffled tractor motor or something unrefined. Its like there was more space between each piston firing. The whole car was rattling.
I turned the car off and restarted it and let it run and nothing changed for 10 minutes. I decided to drive it back home and after a quick 5 or 10 second stop from traffic I hit the pedal and it was gone."
Well it happened again the next day so I crawled it over to Champagne.
They identified the problem as a FAILing ignition control module. The car sounds better and runs harder than even before the problem surfaced. No hesitation, a clear power increase, and a willingness to get into boost that'd disappeared sometime in the last year or so.

Not surprised. CPS and OE POSs will cause problems like that. Relatively easy to diagnose if you
pull injectors while it is missing and then sway the POS connectors (in pairs) to see if the miss moves.

click here for the missing and hesitation diagnostic procedure
