Procedure for replacing brake light switch on urS6 ???
I did not see a FAQ procedure for replacing a brake light switch on a urS4/urS6.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

It hasn't been a big failure item (like none?). Based on what my friend Kate tells me, the switch
Part Number is 443 945 515. It probably is a two pin connector. It is held into the pedal assembly with a clip (PN 431 721 283B - might be reusable). It appears that the switch is arranged such that the circuit is open when your foot is OFF the pedal but as soon as you step on the pedal, a spring loaded plunger tries to follow the pedal and the circuit is closed and the brake lights come on. Note that in the same area there is a "ventilation valve". It's like the brake light switch except it has a vacuum hose attached and when you step on the pedal, it releases the vacuum on the cruise control and the cruise stops working. There is also a ventilation valve on the clutch pedal.
It shouldn't be a big deal to change the switch. Have a look up under the dash for two things with plungers being held in by the brake pedal. The one with the wires attached is the brake light switch.

Just had mine out last night, trying to fix cruise control
Remove cover plate under dash, two bolts, and then the floor HVAC duct (one bolt and foot well light assembly) There are two switches on the brake pedal assembly, one is the cruise vacuum dump valve (it also has electrical contacts for a redundant cruise shut off) The brake light switch is the other switch, two pin connector, use a screw driver to lever it out of it's holder. This switch can be disassembled and cleaned, but as UrS4boy mentioned its a pretty robust part that seldom fails.
