S4 or S6

'Sup man? So you want an UrS, hunh?
Well, the most noticeable differences are twofold, typically:
price and exterior cladding.
S6 is going to fetch a little more cash being a newer model, and will have body colored door trim instead of the black associated with the S4's. Bumpers, too...
Interior-wise, it's pretty much the same, unless you're talking about the CF trim option available with the '93, or instrument cluster and rear sway bar of a '92. Strut tower bar presence varies on models as well...Seats vary a little from the S4 to the S6, as do the headrests.
Subtle differences, really. Personally, after owning both, I prefer the more contemporary look of the S6 from the exterior standpoint. Later production runs of each car are preferable, as the transmissions are typically thought to be more stout in those vehicles. Engines are virtually the same, except for minor peripheral component pieces. Early S4's got UFO brakes.
S6's, I have found, tend to be in better shape for the most part than the S4's, and have usually seen fewer owners. That's not always the case, but...
I haven't been over to the B5 forum for a while.
Is this(are you?), "SilverBullet" from days gone by on that forum, or are you capitalizing on his screenname? If so, welcome bro! If not, welcome bro. ;-)
