steering rack noise!
hi all!
im wondering if anybody replaced ther steering rack,my rack makes a terrible noise when i rattle my sterring wheel.is there a kit to rebuild it.a rebuild one is pretty expensive $600 from blau.

I recently replaced the rack.
What do you mean my "rattle" the steering wheel? I would do a pump rebuild first. I'm wishing I had, as I'm stilling having steering issues.

Don't know who came up with this idea.
But you should seriously never touch that bolt on your rack, as you run a much higher risk of damaging the components than helping anything.
