Default i wouldn't consider it worth the time and money.

Some people have upgraded to the 928 MAFs, as they are larger. In the system our cars use, the MAF is only used at idle or when not under boost (i forget which), but switches to MAP once under boost.

Default well the MAF is still present in the intake path. it is restricting flow

and also restricts the size of the inlet pipe.

Default Like anything of this type, it's as safe as the installer/tuner makes it.

Bolt it on and see what happens = unsafe
Bolt it on and test/tune to make sure will work in harmony with the car = safe.

That said, I'd rather see chip tuned for the environment rather than bolting something on and trying to make it work with whatever chip is in the car.

Default I had two of these in my 300ZX TT...

They made the car extremely tunable. Power increases? Haha, too many mods to tell. I imagine it'd be small. Quite expensive too as I recall?
