Checking a local one out this Friday and I want to scan it with my VAG-COM. Is the port under the shifter boot like the other VW OBD1 cars?

i thought the OBD1 were the 2 connectors inside the black relay box under the hood(black+white pins)

Pop the hood, and at the base of the windshield, you'll see a black relay box, with a brass color bar holding it down.

Open the relay box, and you'll see a white and black inputs

As for getting these cars checke dout, you should probably ask one of the CO S-car dudes to help you out. Maybe someone like Chad Clark, or Hap. There are PLENTY of UrS-car guys in CO that would love to help you out.
