It's cool. I used to have a 91 M5. They are not as fast as you might think. Mine was chipped to 343 hp but they have no torque. My S6 (admitedly, heavily modded) will absolutely destroy it. Not only that, the build quality and engineering is WAY better on the Audi than the BMW. I was "MR BMW" people used to say. Worked as a BMW tech, had 10-12 BMWs, etc. Got an Audi and never went back.

yes, but only available to Canadians.
The wagon is nice because it has the larger 3.8 litre motor with more HP and torque than the 3.6 litre.
Also, its quite rare, even in Europe, only 891 built.
4 good snow tires and traction control will get you most places.

I smoked the same vintage M5 ( sedan ) with my 95 Volvo 850T5-R wagon. I think he only had an exhaust, so prolly not a fair race since my wagon was putting about 260+hp to the wheels w/ extensive mods.
Still a nice wagon though, but heavy.

I find the build quality better on the Audi too. The C4 seems more solid than my E34.
Although, my stock E34 B10 biturbo handles better and is faster than my modded S6.
Generally speaking, I find Audis to be more suited to comfort and BMWs suited to handling, stock for stock.

Nice, there is a place local to here that has one
from Germany, special ordered in a bright (almost nogaro) blue, with cream and blue leather interior, the dash is covered in blue leather. Nice looking car, i imagine it's worth a lot.
And they do alright in the snow, i had no problems with my '92 525i sedan in Germany through the winter months. You just have to be aware of the weaknesses and know when not to stop...

Not true...
A guy in California imported a few of these in the US... They were VIN'ed as a 535i Touring. He basically had some guys in German disassemble the whole car, and then reassembled everything on a 535i chassis when it came over here. This was all ten plus years ago.
Sold a few (most in California).. but, not many.
