2022 Q8 AC Issue - Front Ducts
I have a 2022 Q8 that has a intermittent recurring AC issue. The front ducts appear to close up on it. Even with the fan on high and and the front ducts selected, all you will feel is a little bit of air seeping through. Yes, the dials for opening and closing the vents are all open on the dash. The rear air works fine but the front has nothing coming out. This has happened three times now. The last time I left it at Audi Dallas for 2 weeks, they couldn't replicate it and they took the dash apart and said there were nothing that appeared wrong. Happened again last week 3 hours into a 5 hour trip. It gets very toasting in the front, but the rear passengers are comfortable. It's been at the dealership since Saturday with still no resolution.
I looked through the message board and didn't see any similar issues. Has anyone experienced this. It seems like the duct actuators are all closing and not reopening. Once the car sits for an extended period of time it corrects itself. This seems to only happen when it's 100+ degrees outside.

I thought the dealer had the ability to plug in and actuate the individual control motors...if those all work, it shows that J519, Vehicle Electrical System Control Module, is what tells those to move. This might allow you to have a more in dept conversation to get them thinking.
