I have called handfuls of Audi dealers, even Audi Ontario (2272 Inland Empire Blvd) and nobody has any info or allocations for 2024 RS Q8s. They are saying since they are still building 2023s there are no 2024 allocations.
Do you have an email showing this 2024 RS Q8 having an October build week?
I don't have an email indicating the build week, my sales showed it to me on his system, I remember two of them showed week 40 of production and 1 was week 39. I just have the BOS with the 2024 pricing if that is any help to you. I can try to ask my sales to see if he has any documentation he can provide me with.

Weird, so motor trend just confirmed the 2024 Q8 would be the facelifted version and would be revealed officially on september 5th. https://www.motor1.com/news/683235/2...ft-teaser/amp/. So the question is if the RSQ8 would be facelifted at the same time. I messaged my sales to ask what it means for my allocation, will report back when I get an answer

What's the process of Audi accepting the order and giving you the different codes for the stage of the build? Does your dealer sign you up for these emails or do you have to call them and bug them to check on status?
From what I can see these are the following codes from Audi
Order codes:
00 - Welcome 10 - Order Received 20 - Preperation 21 - Panel Shop 22 - Paint Shop 23 - Assembly 24 - Quality Control 30 - Your Audi has left factory 38 - At Emden 39 - On the boat 40 - Ready for Transport to the dealer 60 - Left UK Port on the way to the dealer 70 - Arrived at dealer - Call to make your collection plans
I think only the dealer have access to these. I haven't bought an audi for a while so I am not sure. With Porsche u can sort of track with their app although not very accurate.

I would press your dealer to show you Audis acceptance of the MY 24 with October 2023 build week. Their bill of sale they can just manually input anything they want.
ask them for a screen shot. it should look like below. what is interesting is i ordered my car July 20th, 2022 - that is what the contract shows. however - that is nothing to do with the official order. notice this screen shot shows the order was actually created 9/23/2022. I don't know if they switched my order with another one or what. I haven't pressed them on it, I just want the car to get here at this point.
Yes that was the screen my sales showed me on his computer, I will ask him for a screenshot. So is your car MY2024 then if the production week is 35th this year? You ordered so long ago, why was the wait so long?

wonder if your dealer just processed it without an allocation and ended up finally getting one.
This is what I find interesting. Are they really making both MY 2023 and 2024 at the moment? can’t be true right?
Or will the 23s getting bumped to 24s? You would think if that’s the case then customers with 23 orders would have gotten a notice.
