It certainly is strange. In the canada configurator, only the rsQ8 is shown as a 2024 model, both q8 and sq8 are still shown as 2023. My guess is may be they are only releasing the q8 and sq8 facelift this year and rsq8 FL as a MY2025. I hope that's not the case cause i want the car early next year and i dont want an older version knowing the FL one is just around the corner hahaha

mine is a 2023. yes I ordered without an allocation but i knew that upfront. originally they told me it typically takes a year. it is looking like it will take a year and a half.

I am contemplating to cancel my order. I am not completely sold by the new lights but I am just concerned about the powertrain increase with the FL version. Porsche had significant changes in their 2024 cayenne line up in terms of power but I am not seeing that in the new q8 and sq8. Audi might only release a hybrid version of the RSQ8 because of the regulation in EU, similar to how the EU don't have the cayenne turbo GT. This is annoying

Kind of makes me focus more attention on the 2024 RS6 that actually have build weeks loaded in dealerships systems with some available before the years end.

My wife doesn't like hatch backs hahaha. Also the problem with the rs6 is you cannot get the red stitiching interior without having every single piece of trim switched to alcantara. So I am guessing you are still not getting any allocations for 2024 rsq8 right? The fact that my dealer has 3 of them makes me feel like the rsq8 won't be released until next september.

You can do red stitching without getting the red design package I thought though.

yeah all of the North American dealers have no info on 2024 RSQ8. Nothing loaded in their systems so just twiddling my thumbs over here. Was really hoping Audi would announce today and just flip a switch and everything is converted to their MY2024. Wishful thinking...

It looks like it, but when you click on the red stitiching, it forces u to select the rs red design pack.

I also got a location for the RS Q8 2023
factory just submitted the order months ago

and this point, I don’t know really what to do

how can we get information? Are we getting 2024 model or if not what should we do? Should we cancel? Or placing new order and be back in line.

I bailed and hopped on an 2024 RS6 allocation. Sand Beige exclusive color. Kind of on the fence about the color but dealership is saying I can't change color or options even though it says they should be able to. I've talked to some dealers and they are telling me allocation colors cannot be changed so a little confused.
