91x4 update and unable to turn off lane keep assist

You're looking at it from a perspective that is not in line with society. I'm with you, don't get me wrong, but everyone and their uncles wants a 'autonomous' Tesla like auto steering function. That is the downsides.

The lazy drivers out there ruin it for the rest of us.

I had the problem before the MMI update and still have it after the update. I consider it to be a safety hazard, not "Driver Assistance". I keep it off.

I wish they would let us toggle off the corrective steering and just leave the vibration to warm the driver like most other vehicles

The corrective steering part of the lane departure warning system was definitely active before the MMI update but tolerable. it has gotten much more aggressive after the MMI update in my opinion and I have had to turn it off several times because it was too much on longer trips.
