Hello,
I have a 2023 Audi Q8 but it seems that I am not able to activate the audi connect card key, getting something like “the card could not be activated because the vehicle was not started using an audi connect key”. Also, is it possible to use the phone as a key on this model? (I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max).
Keep in mind that the car and the phone are European models.
Thank you in advance, I am finding very little info on this.

edit: As for the Card Key, that's new to me. I wish Audi had something that would replace the fob, like a card, wrist band, key tag, etc like other brands so that I didn't have to carry anything.

i am sure part of it is marketing study. more people still want a fob? i could see it makeing some people feel better. plus, if you don’t have a fob, you have extra steps to somehow access unlock or lock on you phone? and then what can you set on the counter to let common man know what kind of car you have 😝

I did not know that only Android smartphones were compatible, thank you.
