Good points, definitely. And I felt it was worth trying to have them fix it. I am completely impressed with how they handled it in the end. So much so tbat I decided to give it another try with an RSQ8. So I am crossing my fingers that I dont get a similar issue!

I had the same issue in my 2012 A7 with Advanced B&O. Drove me crazy and had the dealer try to correct multiple times.
Happening in my Q8 now as well on driver side door same location as yours, but also on the passenger side where it's even worse. There must be something in those panels that needs to be soundproofed or felted down. I may just go the audio installer route.
But as you mentioned, an issue like this on a $90k car is absolutely unacceptable.

This will be a 2021 rsq8 that just came off the production line so hopefully someone has done some work to sort this issue.
If i have an expensive Kazoo when I turn on these speakers I will lose my ****! 😂
