sq8 sport package worth it?

I thought this was the case as well, but a member in the Whatsapp group has he BSG and their SQ8 has the sports package, while a family member who just picked up a 23 SQ8 without sports pack does not have the BSG

That is correct I do not have a BSG and I do have the sports package. I think it’s important to note whether a car has the BSG or not has nothing to do with the sports package. It has everything to do with emissions and the rules, dictated by the country’s AHJ.

The car @Pabla mentions would be the first north american SQ8 with a BSG. Is that person on the forum here Pabla? If they are responsive I'd be curious if they have a north american SQ8, and if yes I'd be curious what their PR codes etc are.

The sports package makes all the difference. Glad we spec’d it. It’s unreal how it handles, even in every day driving.

Back to the topic at hand, my SQ8 is in the shop getting a water pump replaced, and I was given a Q8 loaner. Definitely feel the nose diving and the left to right weight transfer in turns more with the Q8. I debated spending $5k on the Advanced B&O, but glad it went towards the sport package. Even in slightly sporty driving it is a noticeable improvement.

I did NOT spec my SQ8 with the ARS , so I cant offer a comparison , only to say that my SQ8 is the best driving SUV I've ever driven , after owning V8 Sport X5s and X6s , I'm very happy and don't feel it lacks agility or that it leans very much at all ................... I note the OP decided to order the option , Lets wait to hear his opinion , Cheers all
