I am told very few sport package SQ8 cars are built for the U.S. market, but the reviewers that I have watched that drive one all say GET IT. The general consensus is that it makes a world of difference and makes the car feel much smaller and lighter - more sports car like. With the sport package people feel like the handling given the size and weight of the SQ8 is pretty unbelievable.

I thought the RSQ8 had everything the sport package for the SQ8 has, plus more?

I’m sure the sports package makes the world of difference but you’d be surprised how they handle without it. When I ordered my RSQ8 I was on the fence and ultimately decided against the sports package but I rarely feel like it needs to handle better. Maybe at 10/10s but for me this SUV was more or so for cruising than carving corners.

In Canada you can buy the RSQ8 without the sports package, hence why the starting price is a bit lower here.
