Just in case anyone else is going from a 4M Q7 to a Q8 - The WeatherTech "laser measured" floor liners for the Q8 are the same as for the Q7. I'm pre-trading my Q7 today & pulled the WeatherTechs & figured I'd give them to another Q7 person locally. But, when I checked WeatherTech's site I noticed the they already had a set listed for the Q8 & it's the same part number as the 4M Q7 - cool, saved myself some money & a drive to Bolingbrook .
Now - I wonder if this means my Audi Sport dead pedal from the Q7 will fit the Q8 - I know the brake & accelerator caps will work.

Great, nice info. Just to be sure, did this apply to both the front and back for liners?

Yes (part# 44887-1-2). Obviously no third row for the Q8.

Not sure about the US but in Canada, the Q8 comes with a set of original all-weather floor mats for front (4M8061221041) and rear (4M1061512041). You just need to add the one for the trunk (4M8061180)for a full set :-)

Now that I actually have my Q8 in hand, I was able to verify that the WeatherTech mats for the Q7 are a perfect fit in the Q8 - mounting pins line up exactly & snap right in. Particularly good news considering the rotten weather the day we picked it up.
Also, the Audi OEM Sport Pedals from the Q7 fit the Q8, including the dead pedal. Pop off the cap on the dead pedal, use a T-25 bit to remove it & replace with the new one. Installing the brake & accelerator pedals actually was a little easier than when I did my Q7 & Q5.

Thank's for posting this information. I was about to try the Q7 mats I snagged from my totaled Q7 and wondered if they were going to fit.

EDIT: cargo mat doesn't fit. Sides and length are off a bit.

Mine came with both sets, including trunk. Really happy because the cloth mats never age well in MN winters.
