Smog emissions for European models
Hello all,
I would like to say hello, first time user on your guys and gals forum.
I am importing my dads R8 from Russia to California. What i found out is that they specs and engine emissions should be quite the same do to the European standard standards for emissions.
My question is, Did anyone go threw an import of a car from Europe?
and where can i find the sticker for emissions. Should it be at the right lower side of the engine bay under the hood cover?

Just because the car looks similar and has the "same" engine, you'll find many differences.
You need to find a Registered Importer in the USA who has successfully completed the conversion.
