Default Focal Polyflex HC series speakers for the rear deck?

Anyone have experience with the focal HC series coax in the rear deck? I'm thinking of using the Polykevlar 136 up front, and the installer recommended the Polyflex HCs in the rear. They're MUCH cheaper, but I wasn't able to demo them.

Default I can let you know in a week or two...

I have a Focal 130k set for the front, a Focal 165HC set for the rear, and a Precision Power PCX-440 that I'm going to start installing this weekend...

I'll post here how it goes and what it sounds like...

Default Cool, please do!

Sounds like we have almost the same systems on deck: I'm going with the PPI PCX-480, Focal 136k up front, and the 165HC for the rear.

Let me know how it works out for you.

Sure. Have you already bought the 136k's and the PCX-480? Just curious...

Bought the amp on Ebay, buying the speakers from an installer and will have them install everything.

Default Possibly consider the 130k's?

Cool. Have you considered the 130k's? They go much lower, although can't handle quite the volume as the 136k's. You can check out the frequency ranges at the focal web site.

... just a thought.

Default I'll do that - probably a bit cheaper too (more)

Were you able to demo both before you purchased? I'm wondering how they sound side by side.
