I installed the rns-e unit and I am having a problem getting the unit to see dvd nav disc. It say's insert nav disc. My software level is 0080 cd is origianl and have tried another disc with same results. Is is a us disc and us unit.

Software 0080 is Europe, not North America. If you have a RADIO button and not a FM/AM button you will need to "patch" the US DVD to be recognized by the Euro RNS-E. Or flash the US software onto the Euro RNS-E. Search <a href="http://www.navplus.us">navplus.us</a> for details.

I have read the posts on that web site and I am more confused on how to "patch" the disc. Can you give me more info. I have the us disc

I am not sure what to do..it is greek to me. I am not sure what to copy, where to copy it and what files to change.
I may have to get someone who has done this before help me....I am really lost.
