XM Antenna
Hey Guys,
The previous owner of my car had a nice system put in, but when I got the car the XM receiver had been dismounted and was hanging in the trunk.
I have used double sided foam tape to stick the antenna to my back window... this was the only option at the time because the antenna does not have a metal backing.
My reception seems to be questionable at best, the signal fades in and out quite a bit.
What is the best way to attach the antenna to my trunk lid without damaging the paint?
Thanks in advance!

The SAT antenna must "see" the entire sky for proper operation. ....
The recommended location is the roof, a few inches from the rear window. Trunk lid mounting is not as clear view, it's more likely for the line of sight to the Satellite can be blocked by the car body when the satellite elevation above the horizon is a low azimuth angle. A Terk Micro Antenna for XM, is a magnetic mount, maybe you should replace your antenna with the Terk.

Cli cky:
