Default Current GIAC 'Beserk' Chip peaks at 1.4 bar :-)

And holds at 1.3 bar through most of third gear. 1st off the line is wheel spin through all four if boost is properly loaded, second peaks at 1.3 bar and holds steady at 1.1 right up to 5500rpm.

Its a real frankestein chip :-) Garrets tuning ability is second to none.

Several people in this forum have ridden in my car and all say the same thing - its beserk for a KO3:-)

Whats amazing is how smooth the current setup is for the power produced. - not much more need be said :-)

Default "Garrets tuning ability is second to none."

Theres no doubt about it.. Im running the 'normal' chip with N75J and holding 1.2 bar in third and up, which is okay for the time being..

Btw dude is your PWR intercooler available on the market? or just a one off thing?

Default YES - PWR intercooler is available now as a kit

It was custom designed specifically for the A4 1.8TQ with a S4 front bumper.

The kit includes:
PWR Hi Flow Core
Mandrel Bend light weight Aluminium piping (probably the best pipes you will EVER see)
All Silicone Hose Joiners and clamps.

Kit was designed by Euroclass Automotive in Richmond and is available upon request. There are around 4 Audis on the road in Melbourne now with this kit.

Default I can second the excellent quality of this kit ..

I have one of the prototype kits, same as AUDIOZ.

I ran it with my K03, big improvment over stock SMIC. However it's also perfect with my Euroclass GT25/35 kit for those chasing 350HP+

Default Re: thats awesome

I'm deciding whether to change to a RS4 front bumper and get that intercooler or get one that fits behind the front bar..sigh** decisions..

Default More info

I have a Rieger RS4 bumper, and i'll tell you that it was a major PITA to get it to fit correctly. My bodyshop spent alot of time to get it to fit right and there was ALOT of trimming to get it to fit with the FMIC.

If you decide to keep the OEM A4 bumper you can only fit a very thin core.

If you get an OEM RS4 bumper there is some extra work involved since the fenders are wider than an A4/S4.

I recommend getting an OEM S4 bumper if you are considering changing bumpers for something that has good FMIC clearance and a perfect fit with minimal hassles.
