Default Between washes

I have an A6 that is parked outside. Between weekly washes it tends, as one would expect for a car parked outside, to get dirty just sitting. My question is can I use something like the California Duster safely between washes to remove the film of dirt I see? I searched the archive and a couple folks mention that as long as I apply no pressure I should be Okay. Is this still the consensus?

Second, can I use a product like Meguiars Quick Detail between washes as it states, without scratching the paint as long as I follow their directions? Is it intended, or do people use it, to spray down most of the car and wipe of the dirt, or more like a spot cleaner for bird droppings, bugs and similar?

I just hate seeing that thin layer of dirt as I look down the hood when I am driving. Should I just be patient and wait for the weekend when I do my weekly wash?

Thanks folks.

Dave

Default Re: Between washes

I have bb S4 so it shows dust/dirt more than any other color. I use California Duster every day=works great. I used to use Meguiars Quick Detail but was converted to "One Grand Show OFF" by others more knowledgeable than me on this forum. I think if you use that combination you will be happy.

Default I use both without problems. Light dust is no match for the California Car Duster

And the quick detailers help with when you have some dirt that is grabbing more than the duster can take off. I've yet to notice any problems from either.
