About a dozen tiny *clear* spots that look just like dents, cracks, dings. But they are not! If you scratch them with your nail, they are clear glassy things stuck/glued on the windshield. Industrial pollution? Do I have to use some kind of solvent to get them out?

Could be tree sap. Try a bug and tar remover. Or clay.

Default I used Würth Tar Remover and . . . . .

it didn't work. What's next? Paint thinner? Turpentine? Nail polish remover (acetone?) I'd hate to go out and buy a whole can of something, just to find out that it doesn't work either.

Default If they don't leave residue, you could just take them off with a razor blade...

and then charcol lighter fluid as a solvent for anything left behind.

Default It's probably from a tree you parked near on a hot day.

Just get some toluene, it's the best for removing road tar.
