How to snow foam?
Anyone have luck creating thick shaving-cream like snow-foam like those seen on youtube videos?

It seems there so many combinations of product to water dilutions, foam Cannons, soaps, pressure washers, and I don't seem to be able to quickly find the right combination with my setup to produce foam that will dwell for a few minutes. This is what I have:
Kranzle K 1120T 1400 PSI 2.1 GPM
Cam Spray Foam Cannon
I tried these products:
Optimum Car Wash - just soapy water, runs right off.
Chemical Guys Honeydew Snow Foam - somewhat thin foamy water, runs right off.
For both tried 2oz product to 13oz warm water, then a 50/50 mix, then 100% product mix.
Pressure washer set to max 1400 PSI.
I'm getting results like this video, although I used a wider fan:

I guess the only thing left is to try to use more water with less product and/or lower the water pressure. From random forums, others are able to get nice foam with 1400 PSI, so I would think it should be enough, maybe not.
Thanks!

I've been trying to figure this out as well. You might want to try posting your question here: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101/

Thanks John1r, I'll try the AutoGeek Forum.
A new variable just arrived in the mail today directly from the UK, its an Autobrite Heavy Duty Foam Lance, about the same price as the CAM, looks built better and weighs about 5x more, but I'll have to wait until this weekend to see if it works better.

That looks awesome. I've also read on the UK detailing forums that Magifoam is arguable the best foam soap there is. Unfortunately I've never found anyone who could ship it cheaply enough from the UK...

Finally got a break from the rain. The Autobrite Heavy Duty Foam Lance did much better than the Cam for me at least. I actually got foam that stuck to the car this time around, about 1 inch of Chemical Guys Honeydew Snow Foam and the rest with water up to about 1/2 a bottle.
Tried it on the wife's car:

I've used the CG honeydew with great success too as well as detailers price xtreme foam from autogeek. I think the videos that market the product they just use a higher ratio of soap to water to get that thick shaving cream foam look.

For fun I tried full concentration of Adam's Shampoo, went on thicker, but thinned out after a few minutes. Also diluted it and it went on almost as thick.
