Default FJM goes first. Synthetic never goes over a natural wax.

You may want to try the pinnacle in a small area before committing yourself. Some people report that putting a paste wax over FJM dulls the shine. Others say they like the added touch.

Also, if it's really hot and humid where you are, you may not want to use a carnuba right now.

As opposed to FMJ? Why?

Default Carnauba, such as One Grand Blitz, has a tendency to cloud up with high humidity.............

I and a few others such as Paolo (SLVR6) and Mike (LI-S4) have had first hand experience with this happening.
Also, two layers of FMJ should offer plenty of protection.
