Default Just received my first shipment from Phil. Thanks! Question...

Can I use the microfiber towels right out of the box? Or should they be washed first? I didn't get any Micro-Restore on this order so what detergent should I use in the meantime? Any recommendations? Thanks!

"Uber" Jumbo Waffle Weave Drying Towel Red
"Uber" Microfiber Glass Towels
"Uber" Geninue Wool Wash Mitt
Adam's Car Wash 16oz
The Spoke Brush

Figure I'd start with the car wash supplies first. My next order will be for waxing/polishing.

Default I would wash them.

Use half the recommended liquid laundry detergent, and dry them on low until they are half dry. MF towels are easily damaged by heat (not visible to the naked eye).

Default one more thing...do not use fabric softener

It won't damage the MF, but it will release stuff that clings to the MF (or any cotton towel for that matter), and when you use the MF or towel to wipe the paint, that residue will cause smearing and smudging.

Default That is *one* thing that I already knew. ;-) I dried them a little on low and hung them as you

suggested. I picked up some Arm & Hammer Essentials liquid detergent. It is supposed to be free of Dyes, Perfumes, and bleaches. I'll probably pick up some Micro-Restore on my next order.

Thanks for the help!
