My first Quick & Easy Wash today was...
outstanding! That stuff is amazing. I was worried that I had let the car get waaaaay too dirty to be using QEW. Basically, the entire car was covered with grime, and the sides were white with salt. I did have to do the door panels twice, and empty the rinse bucket three times, but the car looks fantastic. No streaks or spots. The QEW does a great job of lifting the dirt--there's no feeling of rubbing against the surface at all.
And it was quick. If the wheels hadn't been such a pain, I would have been done in less than 30 minutes.
Whoever recommended this stuff--thanks!

I've been chimming in on each QEW post.
Since I began using it last October. It does do a great job on my Brilliant Black USP. Whatever micro-marring there is will come out in my spring deatiling session.
That being said, I have to fess up to using a new laser wash that opened up near my house these last few weeks when I have alot of salt and winter road dirt on the car
heated-filtered water and no chessy plate to drive onto. No residue on the car afterwards either.
But at $8.00 a pop (+ another 4 in quaters to do the wheels/wells/pre soak) that gets to be expensive if you wash your car twice a week like I do.

Help me with this time saving routine. Wash a section, "quickly dry" (w/o rinsing) that section....
"otherwise" you might have to rewash? Doesn't sound efficient let alone being risky if the surface has any kind of residue prior to drying? Why is this better than my 20 minute P21S/S100 (BMW shampoo), rinse, CA blade & MF towel routine? For you real world Winter types, a break in the temp, the Stage One product, and a self-service wash looks like it might be an easier alternative?
