OK, stupid waxing question...
When the rinse water sheets off the paint (ie not beads) its time to wax, yes?
The problem I have is finding a place to wax my car in the middle of our Canadian winter...any suggestions?
Thanks,
Rob

Rule of thumb for re-waxing...spray water on your car (not a stream, a spray).
If water droplets form on the horizontal panels that are larger than the size of a quarter, it's time to rewax. If water is simply sheeting off your car, you have NOTHING left to protect your paint. It's best to rewax before the wax completely wears down.
You should do this test on clean paint. Dirt on the paint will sometimes promote the formation of larger water droplets, which won't accurately convey whether there is enough wax on the paint.
