I know this is probably a common post but I dont drag myself over here that much, any hints for keeping that polished lip on my wheels extra shiney

Default If it's truly polished, get a metal polish.

If it's just machined, and clearcoated, then treat it like any waxed surface.

BTW, this forum doesn't move like the A4 forum. You can actually read through every post on this forum inside of a day. Lot's of informative posts on car care and detailing.

Gloss lipstick ?

Anyway. First thing to do is clean the wheels with something like P21S Total Auto Wash or P21S Wheel cleaner. Then wax the wheels. That will make them easier to clean.

To keep them shiny, you can clean them with quick detailer or a quick wax. They make good cleaners and the quick wax helps rewax them every time.

You can't really make the lips any shinier than they were made, unless you go to town on them with some materials you probably don't want to because you'll damage the clearcoat.

Default yea there DTM kruez and there starting to pit

so I used some naval jelly on em and that took care of that bat they keep "hazing" over, and last tiem I used a polish it just made it worse, I think it was just bad polish though
