Default POWER WASHER PSI

Hi Guys! Thinking of washing my cars with a foam cannon. Bought the cannon, now looking for a pressure washer. Question is what is a safe psi range to wash the car without damaging the paint on the car? What are your thoughts on this way of washing your car?

1000 to 2000 psi is safe on paint.

The most important figure for foam cannons though is GPM (gallons per minute). The higher the figure (over 2.0 for example) the more water flows through the more foaming effect you'll be getting.

Don't forget, foaming a car is only part of the pre-wash stage and doesn't replace the 2nd wash step which is the safe-wash method using a two bucket system and a wash mitt.
