Default Turtle Wax 2000 Foaming Wheel Cleaner

I used this formula on my Avus wheels and there is now spiderwebbing in a whitish color. It appears to have dried on. When I wet the wheel with water, it goes away for a few seconds until the lines come back. Any idea on how to get this off?

Default Sounds like a mild case of acid etching.

I experienced the same thing using a cheap wheel cleaner once. I never used that brand again. Your wheels are probably clearcoated, so don't use metal polish on them. Instead try using a mild chemical cleaner intended for use on your car's paint, like One Grand Special Touch or P21S Gloss Enhancing Paintwork Cleanser (cleaner and glaze in one). But to be honest, when it happened to me I think I just waited it out and the whitish streaks eventually disappeared.
