Default An unsolicited Wheel Wax review

Last week, I replaced the tires on my Allroad. As part of the process, I decided to clean the wheels and apply Wheel Wax before I mounted the new tires. The product went on easy and came off with little effort.

It has rained since then and today was wash day. The two piece Allroad wheels are notoriously difficult to keep clean, but the brake dust basically rinsed clean because of the Wheel Wax. The crevices required much less effort than usual.

I am sold.

Quick question, did you also use the wheel wax to clean the wheels or a separate product? Thanks!

I washed the wheels with my wash product (Zaino Z7) before applying the wax

Default So did Bruce send you the free car wash soap as promised the last time you recommended wheel wax?

How about the free tire dressing sample he said he'd send? Just curious.

https://forums.audiworld.com/detail/msgs/11861.phtml</a

Default Yes he did, but this had no influence on my review

My review is completely objective. If the product was not up to par, I would said so. I really like the Wheel Wax. It does what it is supposed to do.

Default Ok thanks, was curious. The whole idea of also using the wax to clean doesn't make sense to me...

I'm sure the wax works quite good for protection and to ease cleaning.

I normally wouldn't use wax as a cleaner but there is a cleaner in this product. All I know is I tried Wheel Wax on moderately dirty wheels because it was too cold to wash car and it worked fine. Normally, I'd wash and dry wheels first.

Uh, you don't use it as a wash and get gifts from the supplier. Welcome to the Plonk bucket.
