Any thoughts! Stoptech or Porsche brakes for a B5 S4??

according to porsche, brembo does something different and specs it to porsche
I read a white paper article that explained the research and design/engineering that goes behind porsche braking technology. More than just buying brembos and sticking them on there. I have a patient from Germany that is a retired engineer that worked for Porsche.

well, i will ask when i see him. i go into sponge mode when he's here...
These engineers are brilliant!!!! Amazing knowledge and it proves there is so much we may not ever know about the testing, manufacturing, their software and engine tuning. Crazy technology and this guy is dripping with knowledge, makes me feel inadequate even with my Ph.D. in Health Technology.

I'm sure they specify lots of parameters
Weight, swept area, f/r bias, etc. Porsche offers lots of brakes, even options on the same car. Bigger, drilled, plain, 4-p, 6-p, ceramic, iron, ... how thick's your wallet sir?
But mine are pretty standard issue brembos, with the P-logo, and they are VERY good. Make that amazingly good. but keep in mind that such firm, linear feel is a system design that extends fromt eh pedal, through the MC, through the biasing system to the calipers. brembo makes only the calipers, and the rotors.
