Brake Fuild Replacement VAG-com?
I am getting ready to replace the brake fuild (using a Motive Bleeder) and am unclear as to whether I need to use the Vag-Com to cycle the EPS / ABS pump. My 2006 A4 1.8T FWD Cab has ABS and EPS. At least one post suggests that EPS / ABS pump should be cycled in earlier versions of the A4, but not necessary in the B7.
Your help is appreciaed.

Cycling the ABS pump isn't necessary for a routine bleeding.
It'd only be required if for some reason you have air in the ABS hardware, for example, after installing a new ABS pump.

Re: Cycling the ABS pump isn't necessary for a routine bleeding.
Thanks for the response. Is cycling the ABS pump unnecessry because the amount of fluid in the ABS pump so minor as to make the amount left immaterial?
