Default Not that it applies to my car or my sister's, but I'm keeping the Motul 8100 X-cess 5W-40 in mine...
and have just put in German Castrol Syntec 0W-30 in my sister's B5 2.8Q. When it comes time to change out my oil though, I'll part with the 5W-40 and put in 8100 E-tech 0W-40, which carries the extended drain VW 503.01 approval, like the German Castrol.

Thats what I've been using, but its not on the Audi Approved listing.

Default The list is just some oils that carry VW502.00 approval, not all, and not counting 503.01, which is
more stringent.

I think I've seen that in Canadian Tire (as well as German 0W-30)
