I found one in Ebay.de, but seller wants me to pay by bank wire transfer

I'd stay away from that
At least if you pay through PayPal, there is some recourse to some degree but it's a PITA still if the seller does not deliver.
Maybe others here with more experience with eBay can add their two cents. I just stay away from eBay in general.

look for those that have paypal account at least, easier to claim if mysteriously lost, then by wire transfer..
wire transfer through bank will cost you about from 40-60 cdn,
and through paypal nothing..

you can buy from USA automotive shop online, but the only way to ship is by UPS, because they accept dangerous good through border,
then you be hit will all kind of taxes, BS..
at least it will cost you 1200 cdn at the end.. is it worth it ? I don't know, can you live with current steering wheel ? perhaps those money you can spend on other goodies,
eventually you will find local dude selling his steering wheel or will want swap.. .
