Cayuga Dragstrip event Friday May 30th (this Friday!!!)
This is just a reminder that this is going on this week. Here is a recap of all the details.
Hey everyone,
As some of you know I went to the dragstrip last fall with as small group of guys and was planning on doing a much bigger event this spring. Well the time has come since the track opens this month. The night of the event will be May 30th and there will be a meeting spot in the west end of Toronto posted closer to the event day. However if you cant meet there and then dont worry since everyone has to meet up at the track anyway. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
The short details are as follows:
When: Evening of May 30th
Where: Toronto Motorsport Track (Cayuga)
Toronto Motorsports Park -Dragway Schedule
Cost: $20 for unlimited runs, $10 to spectate
******Meeting: For the GTA people, we will be meeting in the 401 and Hurontario area at 60 COURTNEYPARK DR E (See link for exact details: . We will then use the 407 to save some time. Be there 5:30pm SHARP because we will be heading out by 5:40pm if you are there or not.******
Remember, if you run under 14 seconds you need to have a helmet!
If anyone needs my cell number just pm me and I will give you it.

<a href="http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=60+COURTNEYP ARK+DR+E&sll=49.891235,-97.15369&sspn=26.624964,59.414063&ie=UTF8& amp;ll=43.638653,-79.693172&spn=0.007283,0.014505&t=h&z= 16&iwloc=ad

If I may suggest something....
To save time, be at the meeting spot with the proper amount of gas that you intend on running with + the amount for the drive to the strip.
The distance is about 95 km's, so, if you want to run light (i.e. about 1/4 tank), show up with approx:
1/2 to 3/5 of a tank if you're driving a B5 S4
1/3 to 1/2 of a tank if you're driving an A4
A full tank + a 23L jerry can of gas if you're a B6/B7 S4.
For the way back, there is a gas station within 5km of the strip (can't remember the brand) and a Sunoco just south of Hamilton. (The Shell station which is about 10k from the strip will be closed by the end of the night).
Last time it took 3 hours to get there b/c we had to stop twice for gas for the Shell and Sunoco users + for a sammich at Country Style.
Dave, I'm in for the evening - I may not be able to get out that early though, so I may either meet you there or on the way.

It's fixed now. The rad has been leaking since like October...
But the appointment at Agincourt was for Friday.
The CEL and power loss/limp mode on Thursday was caused by an APR R1 DV that decided to self destruct. I'll be putting in my old Hyperboost DV next week most likely... and I won't be buying APR products again.
