Default Ebay tip to Canadian buyers...

Maybe you already knew that but for those that don't...

When we search using ebay.ca we only see the auctions for those selling to Canada. I was looking for a Phatbox and there were none selling to Canada. I did a search with ebay.com and there were a couple. I just emailed the guy, asked him if he would ship to Canada even if he wrote(not selling outside US). He agreed and I'm getting a Phatbox for a lot less than what the dealer asks for.

Now I just hope I won't get killed by the duties charges.

So that's over 1000$ already spent on mods(HID+Phatbox) and I don't even have the A4 yet!

Default How much did you get the Phatbox for?

Also, when searching ebay.ca make sure you check "items available to Canadians" and not "items available in Canada". The former will give you all items around the world that can ship to Canada.

Default 530$US... More in message...

Phatbox 530
brackets 15
shipping by airmail 28

I always check available to Canadians but most sellers from the US just don't think about us Canadians and don't check Canada in the list of countries they are willing to sell to.

Funny story. Lauzon in Laval quoted me 1600$ for a Phatbox and even the audicanada.ca websites lists it at "only" 1250$.

If it was a B5 it must be. They had to repaint rear bumber, buffing was not good enough.
