Got rear-ended this morning. What would be the best course of action?

If you want a quick and cheap repair, I had a portion of my bumper repainted for $125...
Guy came to my house and did it in my driveway. Probably won't happen now in this weather, but he's very reasonable. I posted his info a while ago, let me know if you want it again.

Here's what "no-fault" actually means in Ontario.
First of all, fault IS assigned.
The "no fault" part just means that whether you are at fault or not, you deal with your own insurance company instead of the insurance company of the person at fault.

More details on what no-fault insurance is.

I was rearended last summer....father paid for his daughters mistake...
My bumper had two big divots from the screws of her license plate and some scratches. I ended up going to an AUDI shop in brampton and it cost the guy near $800. There was no way I was going to go for a cheapie file and partial respray job when I wasn't the one at fault. He paid no problem. I made sure I took her license plate and insurance right after the collision.

technically, you're supposed to report it
your insurance will not go up as it is 100% his fault. If you report it, his will likely go up which defeats the purpose of him paying for it out of pocket. I think you're supposed to report it within 24 or 48 hours (can't recall which one).
