I got myself Samsung x820 phone. It hooks up to the car just fine, but trying to place a call results in an assorted variety of errors - from instantaneous "call ended" to the reboot of the phone (!!).

Receiving calls is even worse - at one point the whole setup glitched into a very loud buzzing sound (like a feedback loop between the mic and the speaker). I was in the traffic and it scared the bejesus out of me.

In any case, based on some comments I managed to google, the problem appears to lie with the car's Bluetooth stack. Therefore I'd like to try and update it to the latest firmware and the simplest way to do this is to feed it new Nav DVD. This updates the firmware and the DVD can then be swapped back to the 2006 version (the one I have).

I will try and call the dealer tomorrow, but just wanted to check if anyone in Vancouver area has 2007 DVD and would be willing to let execute the upgrade from it (takes 3 minutes apparently).
