Its made by Fein... very nice tool. Actually I bought it to grind and polish slabs of concrete, and realized I could actually use it on the car too. All i need to get is the sponge and lambwool pads.
I have these detailing products:
P21S paint cleaner
P21S wax
3M rubbing compound
3M Imperial Hand Glaze
3M polishing wax
So after washing the car, I apply the paint cleaner and/or rubbing compound with the sponge.. Then buff it out.. then apply the hand glaze and or wax? giving it a final buff with the lambswool wheel?...
I suppose I should be asking in the detailing forum, but I don't know anyone there. I feel like such a noob. maybe I'll just stick to the cotton terry towels and do it by hand twice a year.

unless your car's paint is in seriously bad condition, I wouldn't use that type of polisher
and if you really know how to use it. Because rotative polisher as opposed toorbital polisher, can take off your paint in a second if to much pressure or to much speed. It will heat up the paint real fast and will melt it off your car, really!

I paid $325 US for it.. it is over $700 CDN at Fein dealers in Canada...
Had it sent from Coastal Tools in conneticut to a friend in NY... Sent it up USPS with no duty or taxes. I love german made tools. I also considered getting the Hilti concrete grinder/polisher as well. Fein and Hilti make the best hand tools IMO.

hmm,.. I do have a pretty good touch...
I just thought it would speed up the waxing.. normally takes me 2-3 hours, if i can cut that down in half i'll be happy. I'm gonna give it a try when i warms up. This polisher has a variable speed control on it..900-2700 rpm.. Was thinking of using the slowest setting until i get comfortable with it. and it's only 5lbs.

Actually the higher speed is better for the system. JUST DON'T PUT TOO MUCH weight on it. You will burn the paint. Actually it will do a great job but will be very very messy!!! Put a green garbage bag over your torso as the back spray is pretty wild. Patience!! and it will work beautifully
