you can't satisfy everyone. This is Canada, not India...when he immigrated here he agreed to abide
the local laws. Unfortunately for him, he can not ride a motorcycle and effectively practice his religious. This is a reality in Canada. Riding a motorcycle is not a right therefor there is no reason to modify the law for a select few individuals. I'm sick and tired of people who want to change this country to satisfy their select few. We can't satisfy everyone. I agree with Jet Jockey 100%.

you can't allow a judicial system to function this way.
Its just too complicated and inefficient. There have to be laws that everyone has to follow. Riding a motorcycle does not warranty overcomplicated laws.

I agree with you completely. We have to satisfy Canadians not Jews, Sikhs, Muslims, Catholics..
There are a lot of ethnicities in this country and we all have to abide by Canadian laws. Do they happen to infringe on our own cultures? Yes, but most normal people understand that and are willing to accept that because Canada has opened its doors to us. There are basic rights which we have to satisfy and riding a motorcycle is not one of them. If you don't like Canadian laws (which are more than flexible already) then please leave, the door swings both ways. I've lived here for 16 years and I am a ethnic minority, practice my religion (with very strict rules) and am a Canadian. I have no problem balancing it all and I understand that sacrifices have to be made by me in order to live here. Would I like Canada to closer reflect my religion? NOT REALLY, it wouldn't be Canada anymore. I understand that satisfying all religions is impossible and so I'd rather Canada didn't attempts to satisfy any. There are very good basic principles in place and thats enough for us to practice whatever we want.

you have to admit that wearing a weapon in public is not the greatest thing to allow.
its a separate topic, but actions should be permitted to everyone or no one. By allowing a religious organization to do something while forbidding other citizens is also discrimination.
