6/9/2005 Northbrook Star Police Blotter:
Police said they cited six area teens with curfew violations after finding them in a car believed to have driven over the Anetsberger Golf Course, 180 Anets Drive, just before midnight May 29. The course now is closed, and is scheduled to be rebuilt. The driver, a 16-year-old Glenview boy, was also charged with operating a vehicle off-road, operating a vehicle where prohibited, violating the terms of his license (number of passengers), and for driving while his license is invalid, because of local curfew law. Police said they are holding off on additional charges against the youths pending an assessment of damage to the Northbrook Park District course.
Also cited on curfew violations were 16-year-olds from Glenview, Golf, and Deerfield and a 15-year-old from Glenview. All are scheduled to appear next Thursday in Cook County 2nd District Criminal Court.
