here is my travel blog. I'm sure I'll see some cars that will never make it to the states, which is good and bad.
But if you've been to any of these places, and have suggestions, let me know.
I hope to be out this summer in the 911.<ul><li><a href="http://worldofmulkeen.wordpress.com">Travel Blog</a></li></ul>

if you have time while in Helsinki, take the ferry over to Talinn, Estonia.
Definitly worth the trip to try the food, a beverage or four, and to check out some of the history (and the ladies are quite pretty as well)

Cairo, Athens, Budapest...
Cairo - it is a mad house, as in millions of tourists and city is so expanded it is almost hitting the pyramids....as for the city itself, it will be cool for you to go through litle streets and get pulled, literally, into the shops, especially once they hear you talking engli$h...Pyramids are cool no question.
Athens...this is an older memory, but I recall it as somewhat dead city(middle of summer though), some sketchy areas to avoid too. The Parthenon was just ok for me...nothing all that special...there was bunch of construction there at the time.
Budapest - awesome place. Stay in some smaller, non-chain hotel. Food is delicious, especially cheeses and meats, bread too(I like all). Go for a lunch to Buda side up on the hill, find some place near the cliff so you can see the Pest...Danube right below you...very nice and relaxing place. Go out for a night of partying too...enjoy the views of voluptuous women ALL around you.
I would skip Bratislava and head south to Belgrade. naturally I have to recommend it. A night out is a must, hit one of the boat-clubs docked on the Danube or Sava shores(rivers going through the city). If you decide to do it, let me know and I'll get you a lot more details and possibly connect you with some of my buddies there.
Anyways....enjoy your trip, don't plan too much....just go by what you feel like doing that day...get off main streets..

ya, trip with wife...
Belgrade a tad too far on the train to do a day trip, hence why we are hitting Bratislava. Also considered Vienna.
Not into clubs, but will be hitting the nightlife for sure. Actually staying in Le Meridien in Budapest, had to do it up a bit to convince wife to fly so much in 33 days :-)

Athens: If you have time, rent a car for a day and drive down the coast to Cape Sounion...
...where there are the remains of an impressive temple to Poseidon. The view from the temple location is unbelievable.
While on the road down, pull over at any of the beaches and relax on the sand, or stop at one of the Tavernas and have lunch.
A PERFECT day, IMO (or at least it was when my wife and I were there! :-)
