I'm sure the minivan you passed in a double solid line was really impressed with your 4 cylinder sedan.

You really shouldn't drive a minivan unless you absolutely have to.

Default I must admit that there are times where I need a much bigger vehicle.

I have two car seats in the back right now, so I can only fit one other adult. I need something that seats seven and gets good mileage. I feel like my options are very limited. Maybe I'll buy an older large SUV as a 3rd vehicle.

I'll keep that in mind if I'm ever at that point in life. I appreciate your concern.

Default that is why we are waiting for this to arrive:

<img src="http://images.mazdausa.com/MusaWeb/images/vehicles/nonflash/MZ5/pho_main_MZ5_color_blue.jpg">

we have a touring on order in blue... based on the mazda3, same wheelbase/etc. taller body. handles way more like a mazda3 than an SUV/minivan. Weighs the same as the audi. has the same engine/trans/suspension as the mazda3, so many parts are interchangeable.

shorter than our camry in length. it is actually decently fun to drive. and cheap at $20,000.

3 rows of 2 seats each. The back row is kinda tight, and elminates the trunk really, but we just need a car that we can take a friend or 2 to dinner without having to take 2 cars. You essentially are trading your trunk 2 more seats.

Default I have considered this. But I've always been a go all the way or freaking forget it kind of guy.

However, you live in the city. You can park that Mazda. I don't have that concern. I would like something that I can use to go away for the weekend with my family and my parents. Oh, and I'd like great gas mileage.

Default We have an Expedition - primarily so we can destroy the planet.

A secondary consideration is that we can fit all our kids in there with friends. Other parents get mad when you put their kids in the trunk. And ours kept getting all greasy back there.
