Agression on forum.
This is your forum and has been a pleasure to read and to contribute to over the last year.
You set the standards and generally run a cool operation. Congratulations.
I am however more than a little irritated that a certain Brad Willis, after having been firmly lambasted sometimes wrongly, sometimes rightly, is still posting aggressive and insulting comments that add nothing but do show the author in a very poor light. It seems that you guys have recently gone to some lengths to protect the likes of Brad from insulting anon flamers. By then allowing protected and therefore priviledged people to attack others I am sure is not your intention.
FYI in UK the word 'jerk' is replaced by '******'- it is a sexually profane and deeply insulting term that will offend and incite aggressive responses in others when used. Personally, I can take it, many may not. I do not wish you to start deleting posts because that is sweeping things under the carpet.
Perhaps you might have a private (public would be better to show the forum that you do not have double standards) word with Brad? I presume this is not the Brad Willis Show? And I know you wish to attract as wide and diverse contribution base as you can; don't let spoilt people detract from that. They are and the forum is losing its edge.
You may mail me privately if you wish to respond.
Kind Regards
Gary Charlton

Incidentally one of the reasons that myself and I think a few others prefer to stay anon on mail side, is that we use company property for private use, which could technically be against terms of employment fyi.
Cheers
I'm also from the UK and use company property to partake in the A3 forum - which, as you say, is frowned upon. I work for one of your major competitors.

If you don't want to give your works e-mail address away, register for a free "web-page-based" e-mail on something like altavista.co.uk. That way you can nearly always supply that address, if you want to of course. I personally remain anon for a while, until I get familiar with the person, and then include it a couple of times. Made a couple of "friends/contacts" already!
Just my 2p. Buy the way, I'm very impressed by your list of cars. Are you MD of your company, or did you win the lottery!
)Cheers,
Alan
