Limit my threads to 30per page, and only show the last 2 weeks. This isn't displaying properly.
I'm only seeing 10 posts per page, not the 30 i want to see.
I believe you are talking about seeing 10 "threads" per page on forumdisplay.php. When you change the UserCP setting for "Number of Posts to Show Per Page", you are telling vB how many "Posts" are shown on showthread.php. forumdisplay.php is going to show 10 threads per page.
To clarify any confusion, think of a "thread" as any new topic and a "post" as the replies to/within that thread.
The setting for number of threads displayed on forumdisplay.php is set by the administrator and to my knowledge is not user configurable.

So why the administrative change to 10 then? I know I was seeing more than 10 posts. I'm NOT an threaded view user, to only see 10 threads is not nearly enough if I dont visit for a day or two (or even sometimes for my work day.)
Isn't it better to show more threads to encourage people to see and reply to posts than to effectivly hide them which could reduce your click count / useful information to the user base? Seems like a Win/Win for everyone to have more threads displayed.
